Thomas P. Crowley CPA, PC is a full-service Certified Public Accounting Firm consisting of an experienced staff of professionals located in Opelika, Alabama, since 1981.
The firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of CPAs, and the Alabama Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Thomas P. Crowley CPA, PC has successfully passed a peer review every three years since the program began in the late 1980’s. Every three years, another firm examines our quality control program and our accounting procedures to be sure we follow the quality standards dictated by the AICPA.
Meet the Owner
Firm Owner Thomas P. Crowley has been in public accounting since 1976. He graduated from Auburn University in 1976 and received his CPA designation in 1978. He has served the community through various clubs and is an active member of First Baptist Church, Opelika, Alabama.
Meet the Staff
Suzanne McAlpin
Is our office manager. She has an Associate’s Degree in accounting and Bachelors in early childhood education. Her background brings 18 years of management experience and office operations.
CAROLINE C. Vega
Is a staff accountant. She is proficient in QuickBooks, tax, and bookkeeping. She is a graduate of Troy University with a major in Accounting and is currently studying for her CPA certificate.
THOMAS H. HOWARD
Is a staff accountant. He is focused on audits of non-profit organizations, tax, and bookkeeping services. He is a graduate of Auburn University with a major in Accounting.
CARYN E. MCCRANEY
Is a part-time staff accountant. She works remotely from Atlanta, Georgia, and provides QuickBooks, tax, and bookkeeping services. She is a graduate of University of Memphis with a major in Accounting.
BETH THOMPSON
Is a staff accountant. She received her Bachelors and Masters from University of Phoenix in 2015. She brings 13 years of accounting experience from manufacturing and private business. She is currently studying for her CPA certificate.
JENNIFER BUTLER
Is our accounting assistant. She has 12 years of property management experience, along with 20 years in office administration and accounting experience.
